We all enjoyed Leslie Forbes' talk on her process in creating landscape quilts. Leslie works from pictures and has an eye for the subtlety of showing colours in designs. One of her more recent designs is the lantern with flowers in 3D.

Uschi Greiner and Kerry Karmen of Wool Penny Rugs gave an lovely trunk show of their work with wool applique. They sold single kits, block-of-the-month kits, and some fabric then did a short workshop for some members. You can sign up for their newsletter on the website Wool Penny Rugs.

December Meeting – Challenge ends!
We had a lovely afternoon with great company and good food. The Challenge came to an end and the UFO's poured in. Of the 23 members who challenged themselves to finish 75 quilts, we saw 60 finished quilts and 14 members finished all their UFO's. It has been a great year.
