Here are a couple of pictures from our last Have Quilts Will Travel. We went to Churchill House here in North Van. Residents enjoyed hearing the short history of quilting and seeing quilts made by our members. Marianne's Flower Quilt Judy's Mystery Quilt This was our last Travel Show this Spring.
Trunk Show
Caught! A few of our members caught having a trunk show of their own rows after the April meeting. It was very exciting - and inspiring! We are all looking forward to seeing quilts from our members' rows in June and/or in the Fall. Happy Quilting!

April Meeting
A nice short meeting for everyone. Thanks to Community Quilts for the well prepared kits. Each set of fabrics had instructions for cutting and we soon had many kits ready for the May 2 Community Quilt Day work session. Hope to see many of you there.

Uschi Greiner and Kerry Karmen of Wool Penny Rugs gave an lovely trunk show of their work with wool applique. They sold single kits, block-of-the-month kits, and some fabric then did a short workshop for some members. You can sign up for their newsletter on the website Wool Penny Rugs.
“Carol’s Mystery” Workshop
On February 1st we arrived with our darks, lights, medium darks and medium lights. We had no idea what the result would be! Carol led us through 7 steps and by the end of the day most of us had a few quilt blocks finished. A few people brought theirs to the February meeting -

Our first meeting of the year. Our guild business was soon finished and we saw a few items in Show and Tell. After the break Elaine A. presented her quilting journey in applique. Elained showed her quilts and she explained the process for building them. Picture to follow.
December Meeting – Challenge ends!
We had a lovely afternoon with great company and good food. The Challenge came to an end and the UFO's poured in. Of the 23 members who challenged themselves to finish 75 quilts, we saw 60 finished quilts and 14 members finished all their UFO's. It has been a great year.
