As a sign in a quilt shop said, “Summer quilters are the best!”
From Anne R … I started this November 2019 at Carol Piercy’s class, came home and put the box away. In May decided to work on UFOs and ‘found’ it — but not the instructions!
It is a bit larger than the original plan, but it is done. I only do straight line quilting so it is covered in outlines of stars.

From Kory … Silly Moon Quilting Co. offers Zoom classes on ruler work. Kellie sells quality rulers, locally made here in Mission, BC.
I was keen to take her beginner ruler quilting class. Bonus, I also get placemats. I learned how to use the rulers (named Charming and Edgie 6). The $25 class is free if you purchase the rulers and/or kit through our local retailers. Note, when using rulers you should have a ruler foot.
I chose The Stitchery, which is situated in Port Moody, BC. Naomi is the wonderful manager of this modern shop. She offered a choice of grunge fabric for this kit and this is what I chose. On a side note, this shop is just blocks away from Gabi & Jules who make handmade pies and treats. This makes for a fun road trip.

From Ilse … I made this beginner bargello using fabric from my stash. Now to begin quilting it.

From Chris … I started this quilt at a Lions Gate Quilt Extravaganza several years ago. The top has been sitting hidden away, so one more project done.

Thanks to Anne R, Kory, Ilse and Chris for sharing their projects with us.
