Staying Connected #18

More quilting inspiration …

From Elaine … This quilt was made for my friend’s birthday last August. It has been delivered to my friend and is on her sofa.

From Lorna … This is the quilt top that I made for our first SOS day and our first Zoom meeting.

I precut some of the fabrics and then got up at 6 am that morning to start sewing. It wasn’t complete by nightfall but I was happy to have spent much of the day just quilting.

It is another of the BQ quilts that I submitted a few weeks back. I was in the mood for pink as you can see. There was no pattern on Pinterest but they did say that it was a 13 1/2 square so I was able to draft the block from the picture. Once again, I had the fabric in my stash!

From Anne … I made up my own “pattern” … The smallest is a baby quilt for our neighbour, who is due early September …

… The larger of similar colours is for her big sister (2 years old). I used my scrap boxes only, except for the borders.

… The unicorn quilt is now ready to be sandwiched and quilted.

Many thanks to Elaine D, Lorna, and Anne W
for sharing their quilting with us.

And thanks to Maureen for sharing this cute photo of her cat,
Julia Roberts, checking out a hairy woodpecker.
