On May 8 Krista Hennebury facilitated our experiments with free cutting of strips and much fun was had by all. Members and guests discovered they could cut straight lines free hand. Everyone was careful to heed Krista’s warning to “pause before cutting and know where your other hand is”.
If any other members send me pictures of their Courthouse quilts I will add them to this post.
The larger quilt below is made from men’s shirts and the smaller one is notable for the use of a bright colour for the centres.
Many thanks Krista.
