Staying Connected #55

What members are making (and fixing) …

From Chris … My daughter in Williams Lake sent me 2 panels like the first picture.

From each panel I made 1 table runner, 1 placemat, 1 hotmat. I will send 1 tablerunner , 2 placemats, & 1 hotmat to my daughter.

From Maureen … Bunnies get prosthetic legs …

From Judy S … I made this quilt over the winter. I used some orphan blocks and patches on hand, found coordinating fabrics in my stash, and connected them all up somehow. You can end up in “box canyons” at times with this approach to making a quilt, but eventually, you get to where you want to be!

It’s rewarding to see what you can make with leftovers from other projects, and you can have fun trying out some new-to-you blocks to add to the mix.

I named this project my “Sleepy Horse Quilt” because of this fellow. He turned up by surprise in a little pack of fabric I bought on a road trip. He grew on me and worked his way into my quilt.

Thank you to Chris and Maureen for contributing to this post.

Happy Trails!
