Staying Connected #22

More fun with fabric …

From Genevieve … My 9 year old granddaughter has made her first quilt top.

From Chris … Two more lap quilts done.

I have taken a break from sewing, just sorting fabric, patterns and lots of other things. I’ll be back to sewing soon.

From Marilyn … This is a 20” x 22″ rainbow quilt I made to hang in our window facing the street. It is to honour the front line workers.

It is a bargello and the quilting lines are meant to suggest rain.

And also from Marilyn … This flower quilt is a community quilt I started on the June SOSAH Day.

I used the Quilt-in-a-Day Stash Buster from Karen Brown of Just Get It Done Quilts.

I followed her method but made a smaller quilt to be used as a wheelchair quilt.

(Links to Karen’s website can also be found on the SOSAH Days Page on the Guild’s website. Ed.)

From Eleanor … A picture of Barb’s Old Door pattern.

I kind of lost interest in my sewing room lately (Covid overkill). Barb’s pattern piqued my interest.

With many thanks to Genevieve, Chris, Marilyn, and Eleanor
for this show and tell 😊

And lastly, cheers to all the rock artists who leave uplifting and motivating messages for those who pass by.
