We particularly enjoyed the booth for the Quilts of Valour. They had machines there for anyone to make the red, white, and yellow blocks. They had a longarm quilting machine in the booth and were quilting quilts. We even saw serving soldiers sewing blocks. We went to a presentation of quilts.

We went to both of the evening lectures.
David Taylor kept us laughing but was serious about fabric. An important point he gave was giving us permission to keep fabric we love but may never put in a quilt.
Libs Elliott made the use of technology more interesting as she explained how she uses code to develop designs. She also reminded us that time is precious and to follow our passion.
Happy quilt exploring, Marilyn C and Barbara M
