From Eleanor … My Covid resolution was to clean out my stash. No new fabrics, except some backing and batting.

I have been cutting the “bits” into squares and making Maple leaf wheelchair quilts. Sadly, my stash still has the same number of boxes😞!!!

This is a gift for my sister Anne, four siblings’ quilts down, one to go. This will either be flying by mail or with me to London when this nightmare is over. It’s so soft I may have to sleep under it just once. Started last spring and finished today (Monday, April 12).

From Sonia … I made this baby quilt for my daughter’s friend who is expecting a baby girl in May.

I had seen a quilt similar to this on Pinterest sometime ago and I thought I would try it using pre-packaged 2 1/2″ strips by Timeless Treasures called Treat-Strip-Taffy which I bought from Creative Edge a few years back.

I have enjoyed the process, using applique and patchwork which is quilted with a heart.
