Our Block of the Month is back by popular demand. Blocks will be noted in the newsletter, demo’ed at the meeting, and the directions will be published here on our website.
Each month we will have a lotto with the blocks. Members will be given a ticket for each block brought in. All the blocks will go to the winner(s) of the draw(s).

FUTURE QUILT
A few members have asked about making additional blocks for themselves with the idea of making a quilt of all the blocks at some point. With this in mind my suggestion is if you would like to make a set of blocks for yourself then
— consider whether you would like the same background for all the blocks
— make 4 blocks of the Envelope Block
— make 2 blocks of Migrating Geese
— make as many blocks as would fit in a 16.5″ square
More ideas —
— do not worry about making squares and just make a few of each block and they can be pieced into a quilt
— or they can be a Quilt As You Go project
— or they can be made into several quilts
